Couer d’Alene July Remodel

Couer d’Alene July Remodel

Rendering of Peak Fitness Coeur d'Alene's newly remodeled weight room, featuring updated flooring, modern strength equipment, and elevated lighting design for an improved workout experience.

Our Much-Anticipated PEAK CDA Remodel Begins in July!

Beginning Monday, July 7, we will begin our remodel in CDA, with a completion date hopefully in 4-5 months!

There will be an adjustment period during the remodel as we continue to make the club useable during the update. Our commitment is to minimize disruptions and ensure you still receive a great member experience and most importantly, a great workout, so your patience is appreciated!

The schedule and remodel renderings will be posted soon, and we will do our best to keep you posted on changes and updates. The following is a list of what will be upgraded/remodeled at the CDA building.

Exciting Enhancements

  • The front parking lot on the east side of the drive will be upgraded so that there will be a turnaround, members will no longer have to back up if there is not a spot to park.
  • The front entry vestibule will be completely redone and much larger
  • New signage will be added to the front of the building
  • The Kids Club will be moved downstairs into the old group fitness room located outside of the women’s locker room, allowing for much more space and light!
  • The Spinning Room will be remodeled and enlarged to 800 square feet to include more spin bikes/larger classes.
  • The weight room will be remodeled, new decking for cardio, new lighting and new paint.

Cardio & Strength Upgrade

We are also happy to share that the start of the remodel will begin by adding an 18-piece sectorized line of new Life Fitness Strength equipment along with 23 new cardio pieces including ellipticals, treadmills, and bikes!

To accomplish the weight room remodel with the least amount of disruption is going to be a challenge. The fastest way to finish is to close the entire weight room and let the contractors work unobstructive of member usage. By doing this it will cut approximately 4 months off the construction time.

With that being said, we will be setting up the new equipment and moving the existing equipment onto the basketball court and the space outside of the court. The cardio deck will be moved into the old group fitness room outside of the women’s locker room.

Please keep in mind, this is only until the gym is remodeled, then the equipment will all be moved back into the gym, and we will continue with the remainder of the remodel.

Worth the Wait!

Again, we know this will be a big change, but the end result will be worth the wait!

Please be patient with our staff and other members as we continue to stay open and bring you another updated, state-of-the-art PEAK location!
