As Kootenai County boomed in the late 90’s, local ownership decided to look at expanding its services from the success of the original Ironwood Athletic Club in Coeur D’Alene. This resulted in the first satellite location in Hayden. Since the new facility would not offer all the services that were at the Ironwood Drive location, at that time the group decided to bring in a well-known name to help distinguish it from Ironwood Athletic Club.
In 1998 World Gym of Hayden opened its doors. As the years passed, the ownership group added the Post Falls location, then made a decision in the fall of 2008 to change all three club’s names to “PEAK Health & Wellness Center”. This was done to eliminate the confusion of the two different names and strengthen our relationship with our “sister” clubs or reciprocal gyms in other states.
PEAK Health & Wellness Center in Hayden is a brand new, first-class facility located in Hayden, Idaho. With four well lit indoor tennis courts, a spacious and comfortable lounge, well stocked pro-shop, and executive style locker rooms with steam and dry saunas available. There is a beautiful 10,000 square foot weight room, three tier cardio deck and a Hot Yoga Studio with a spectacular view of Canfield Mountain. Also included are a 2,400 sq ft Group Fitness studio and Group Cycling studio. Hayden also has four indoor pickleball courts that were added in 2019.
